The Global Network

Opportunity International Australia is one of five support partners of the Opportunity International Network. The Network enables us to combine expertise and information globally, working towards a similar mission, vision and commitment.

Network Services Organisation

As a coordinating body, the Network Services Organisation manages the membership of the network and provides technical services, research and development to all network partners.

Implementing partners

Working in countries across Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe, implementing partners are locally based microfinance institutions that manage programs and employ indigenous staff to work with clients and help them out of poverty. They operate under the supervision of a qualified, volunteer Board of Directors.

Support partners

The network support partners of Opportunity International are found in Australia, the US, UK, Canada and Germany. Our role is to advocate for the poor, educate the public on issues relating to poverty, raise and invest funds to establish and grow microfinance institutions, and obtain grants for training, technical assistance, research, and management information systems.
