How it works

1.    Browse through the gifts on offer and choose the ones that suit your family and friends. Every gift is tax-deductible.

2.    Once you’ve found the gifts you like, click on 'I'm ready to order my gifts' and choose the quantities of each gift you’re after. If you’d prefer to make an order over the phone, just call 1800 812 164.

3.    We’ll send you your gift cards (postcard size) within 5 working days, along with your tax-deductible receipt. Gift cards include a picture, short description of your gift and space to write a personal message – present this to family and friends and let them know they’ve joined you as part of Something Bigger! If you choose to make a personal donation rather than purchase a gift, we’ll just send you your receipt.

4.    Your gift has an impact! While all the items in this catalogue are real items purchased with the small loans that help people start a business and work their way out of poverty, Opportunity International Australia doesn’t actually purchase a piglet or some coconuts and send them overseas. All proceeds from Something Bigger help us provide microfinance and other support services to people in developing countries – whether by expanding our outreach, building the capacity of the organisations we partner with or by providing small loans. Either way, funding will be directed to wherever it’s needed most. One business impacts one family which equates to, on average, five people. Now that’s something bigger!
